A magenta face turns toward the viewer beneath a dark red beret. Triangles, circles, and angular blocks gather around the head and shoulders, their bright colors held against a deep blue ground. The portrait has the presence of a bust, yet its edges seem to break into separate forms.

Fula uses that unsettled boundary to explore how discomfort can sharpen perception. The work invites attention to the relationship between a recognizable person and the shapes that surround them, leaving room for beauty and vulnerability to coexist.
