The Eversley Fula Experience
Let me take you back to almost 15 years ago to one night at a Boston pop-up art show. Fula had just hung his last artwork and was stepping back to check everything out.
As he’s doing this, in walks Eversley. Now, picture this: Eversley strolls right into Fula’s section, and they share this quick nod—like they both know they’re about to be part of something special. Eversley starts looking around at Fula’s work, really taking it in.
Then, he motions with a finger to all his pieces and says, “This you?” Fula just nods and replies, “Yeah.” Eversley looks back at the art, gives a little nod of approval, and says, “I dig man, I dig.”
At that moment, Fula thinks to himself, “What time machine did this guy step out of?” I mean, that kind of language is rare today! It felt like Eversley was totally in tune with what Fula was trying to express through his art.
And that simple exchange? It sparked something amazing between them. That night marked the beginning of their journey together as artists.

The Eversley Fula Experience isn’t just about the art; it’s about the connection that started with a nod and a few words that resonated deeply. It’s a celebration of creativity and the unexpected friendships that can blossom in the most unlikely places.

Throw me in the Trash
In my latest series, "Throw me in the Trash," I embarked on a journey of exploration and reflection. I delved into the world of paper prototypes, seeking to understand the limitations of using a framed canvas. As I experimented with these prototypes, I found myself crumpling one of them and tossing it into the waste, only to watch it hit the rim and land on the floor.
This seemingly mundane act sparked a significant realization within me. As I gazed at the crumpled paper, I began to ponder the fate of my own work. Would it, too, one day be discarded? This contemplation fundamentally shifted my perception of time and art.
I came to the realization that driving my work with ego no longer fueled my ambition. Instead, it allowed me to transcend the constraints of my own lifetime, enabling me to create art that exists beyond the boundaries of my own existence.
"When we connect our identity to material possessions in an attempt to leave a lasting legacy, we may inadvertently prioritize our future impact over embracing the present, thus obscuring the true value of the moments we are currently experiencing."
Join me on this thought-provoking journey as I delve into the intersection of art, time, and self-expression in "Throw me in the Trash."

The Hunger to Reclaim Childhood
The Hunger to Reclaim Childhood is an American art exhibit by portrait painter F. Fula. The exhibit speaks on the notion of reclaiming the innocence of childhood by exposing our sins. This is done by showcasing our journey as we wait for salvation to come. It ends with the realization that salvation comes in the form of creation.
Fula has shown that the creation of art has saved his life. With that said, by having faith and trust in the process, plus the courage to experience these pieces, art can save your life, too. May joy and healing find you during The Hunger to Reclaim Childhood.

This is America
Approached through the lens of the individual, This is America provides perspective on a myriad of social and political matters that are currently dividing the collective consciousness of Americans. As we navigate this complex and polarized landscape, it is important to realize what can be achieved when all voices are considered. Of course, this is an impossible feat for a single exhibition, but it can be a catalyst for conversation. Each piece in this exhibition encapsulates the artist's perspective on certain socio-political truths and inequities that have undeniable effects on the identity and autonomy of some individuals and communities.
Every conversation generated by this exhibition is an extension of the artwork you see on the walls of the gallery. As we confront difficult subjects such as white supremacy, racism, antisemitism, gender equality, reproductive rights, police brutality and other forms of social and political violence, remember that this is a safe space for discussion and cultural exchange. Challenge yourself to look beyond our own perspective and together we can work towards a future of America that supports all citizens unequivocally.

Eve ate the Apple (On Display)
Eve ate the apple from the tree of knowledge knowing it would be good and bad. This action places her, to some, in negative eyes for thousands of years. The first woman in human recorded history, consumed knowledge and for that received the painful truth in return.
The apple otherwise knows as Malus, falls onto another popular story involving a man, who many would regard to be the founder of mathematics; Sir Isaac Newton. Sir Isaac Newton brought revolutionary calculus to help advance humanity into the would of tomorrow.
His actions were so great, a technology company years later would adopt the symbolic apple as remembrance to the never ending search for the knowledge of reality truths. Truly amazing what man can accomplish when women lead by example.

The Bold & Beautiful
Artist Exhibition is about addressing who we are, what we stand for and how we allow other people's perception of us to affect how we see ourselves. 'The things that make me boldly different, make me beautiful!'
Eversley was teased and called a nerd when he was younger and was compared to Urkel (a nerdy fictional TV character). He now embraces his nerd persona and created abstract art about a character he calls 'the nerd." He took a negative situation and turned it into a positive one and now shares that story with teens and adults through his The Bold & Beautiful art and writing workshops. It is about self-love, anti-bullying, and perception'

Real F.R.I.E.N.D.S
Jamaal Eversley, a painter and multi-media artist, called on a dozen friends to put together an exhibition about collaboration. The show, which features pieces by individual artists and collaborative works made with Eversley, is a tribute to community as a source of succor, joy, and generation. To that end, there are live painting demonstrations each week.
Eversley structures the show around his artistic avatar, called Spencer Ward, whom he refers to as "a bold nerd." In the artist's own works, Spencer is rendered simply, as an orange rectangle with glasses. High-keyed and graphic, Spencer always tilts, mouth agape — like the rest of us, set off kilter by the winds of change and whimsies of the heart.
